Who we are

Our services focus on delivering innovative and sustainable tourism solutions and approaches that can be adopted to future proof tourism businesses and destinations whilst contributing to Sustainable Development in Africa.
Our approach

How we see sustainability

We understand different scopes and different angles of tourism that contribute to Sustainable Growth for both the commercial and non commercial aspects of travel and tourism.

Tourism has been poised as a key driver that can contribute to sustainable development in Africa and the world

It is also recognised as one of the fastest growing industries that have a high potential of contributing to a sustainable social-economic growth in terms of employment, community enterprise developments, infrastructure etc.

We therefore use a sustainable inclusive model where we work with the full tourism value chain to develop and manage practices that consider the full circular impact. Our role and purpose is to support tourism and travel entities in adopting best practice and in turn promoting the realisation of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the African context.

Sustainability Research and Assessments
_________________________________________
In recent years, we have heard a lot about natural catastrophes, climate change and social injustice. Destinations suffer from ‘Overtourism’ and social and environmental impacts from tourism. But why and how does this impact our lives and businesses?

Strategic Planning for SMEs
_________________________________
SMEs are the growth engine of economies and are often innovators. In developing countries, SMEs often struggle with many hurdles, including legislative challenges, access to finance, corruption and market access.

Travel and Tourism Development
____________________________________
It is often assumed that Tour Operators and Travel Agents do not play a big role when it comes to sustainability. Being the middle men, they do not own most of the tourism products such as hotels, aircrafts, restaurants etc.

Product and Brand Development
___________________________________
Traditionally, many destinations develop a country brand and image over time. Branding of individual regions is often neglected or left to the key destinations. Many smaller destinations lack the capacity and finance to develop new products and market their assets as a region, relying on individual efforts

Workforce Development

Every business wants an innovative, performing, self-driven and motivated team that delivers the company’s goals and identifies with the company’s values. Sustainability as a quality management tool does not only address Environmental Impacts but also targets Economic and Socio-Cultural Impacts.

Sustainability Training and Coaching
____________________________________
Sustainability is the new black. It sounds modern and cool, however it is not just another catchy phrase. Sustainability in business is about learning to develop a business model that considers the people, the planet and the profit.

Impact Reporting
___________________________________
Sustainability is not complete if there is no third-party verification. An organization must be able to report all the sustainable practices that they have done, must be able to report for certification and accreditation globally.

Crisis Management

n a world full of threats to the tourism industry such as terrorism or disease outbreaks such as Ebola or Coronavirus, ever thought of how you could handle such a situation if any of these occurred to your clients or happened in your organisation / destination?
